A Piece About A Bridge

Here is a short piece about the Bay Bridge as I keep on keepin' on in the work department. Things are going great; just busy...and Lord knows there's nothing wrong with that.

I guess it must be a cultural thing. We don't really have any two-level roads or bridges here, and they always seem so fragile. The idea that a bridge has an "inside" is just wierd.

The one time I went to San Francisco even a little bit of driving underneath another road made me distinctly uneasy. And all those coillapsed-road earthquake pictures just reinforced the feeling.
