A Proposal for HaveMoneyWillVlog.com

A Proposal

Click for Quicktime 7 version::Flash version on blip.tv

Here is my proposal for HaveMoneyWillVlog.com, a site that helps videobloggers get their projects funded. The first two accepted proposals are: American King, Seven Maps. Both worthy projects by great artists, but these cost at least $1000! Mine is a much more modest proposal on a slimmer budget.

Thanks for your consideration for my project!

Schlomo, $10 is 1,000 blubs. That's a lot of blubs.

I support your art.

Close the gap... from the bottle to your mouth.

$100 worth would take a loooong time. Wouldn't your lips get sore?

Awesome. You know, if this is the type of ideas I'd be up against, maybe I should send them a proposal. Hmm... Cheers.

What are the timelines for the resulting blubs? Will you blub in your spare time or will there be one blubbing session?
What will be the drink of choice?

I am not really interested in donating, but I would like my company, Brio Realty, to be a sponsor of the final Blub video!

Hmm.... Schlomo, will you be buying liquor at retail prices, or at the prices your bar pays?

Because if you're buying it at bar prices, you might want to save some of the blub-blub money for the kidney transplant.

Anyway, I sponsored the Seven Maps project, because I really enjoy pouringdown, not because I feel the need to be involved in the interactivity. I've sponsored friends who did internet charity drives wherein they did something weird or silly in exchange for donations to their charities. Not because I needed the interactivity/synergy, but because I believed in them.

I believe in you, Schlomo, and if the blub-blub project is your thing, then I'd sponsor you in it. Not because I believe in blub-blug. Because I believe in *you*.

*sniff* *cue public domain, non-RIAA, Disney-esque theme song*

Interesting--can I pay you blub but not to drink?

Crap - I've been doing that for free all these years. You finally monetized my one ability and then pulled it out from under me. Thanks, pal. Thanks a lot.

Dang it, where'd I put that 40?
